We offer FLAT RATE* shipping on retail orders less than $72. Retail orders over $72 ship for FREE**. This offer is only available to addresses in the lower 48 states (Not available to HI or AK). This will be shown during check out.

*per recipient, valid on orders up to $75 online or via phone – Flat Rate Charges are as follows;

$5.95 – to the following states – CT, DE, ME, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT

$7.95 – to the following states – AL, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, OH, SC, TN, VA, WV, WI

Ground Shipping

DUE TO COVID – 19, Shipping of all orders could take up to 7 business days to leave our bakery from date of order placement.

UPS Ground shipping delivery dates can’t be guaranteed, only estimated. Depending on the day of the week you place your order, you can usually expect the following:

Klara’s Gourmet Cookies ships all of our packages via UPS from our bakery in Lee, Massachusetts. We do ship to Alaska and Hawaii, but DO NOT ship outside of the US.

We cannot not ship to P.O boxes, APO’s or FPO’s as UPS requires a numerical street address for all deliveries. If you require items be shipped to an APO or FPO please contact us via phone at 413-243-3370 and we can arrange shipment via USPS Priority Mail.

UPS delivers on Monday through Friday. We do not offer Saturday delivery.

UPS delivers from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Typically they will deliver to businesses first, and then to residential addresses.

Residential addresses typically do not require a signature. HOWEVER, if there is no one there to accept the package, and the UPS driver does not feel comfortable leaving it for ANY reason, s/he is required NOT to leave the package. UPS will make three delivery attempts before returning the package to Klara’s Gourmet Cookies. UPS will leave a note on the door following each delivery attempt. Please be sure to include the apartment number if you are sending to an apartment building.

Business addresses do require a signature, but not necessarily from the recipient whose name is on the box. Anyone in the building is able to sign for the package. Please be sure to include the company name and floor/suite number if you are sending to an office building.

Return / Refund Policy

As our products are perishable, all food sales are final. Klara’s Gourmet Cookies will be happy to replace any item(s) in the unlikely event that they might be damaged or spoiled during transit, or to refund you the full amount of your purchase. To make sure that you are satisfied with the product you receive, please inspect the contents as soon as your order arrives.

Klara’s Gourmet Cookies is not responsible for damage or loss as a result of shipments being returned to the freight location or being undeliverable as a result of incorrect address information you supply to us.

We wish we could assure proper handling and prompt receipt of packages once they have been delivered to the correct mailing address by the third party carrier (UPS, FedEx or USPS), but this, of course, is out of our control. To enjoy the full flavor and freshness of our products, we urge you to make the necessary arrangements beforehand. Shipping/handling charges are not refundable. Refunds will be credited to the originating credit card.
